We are definitely under surveillance. Most of the properties we have stayed in have remote access and the owner watches as we try to gain access. We miss the personal touch.
Last night’s accommodation was a huge quadruple room for the two of us . All very pleasant with breakfast on the balcony. But we had just the one chair. After 5 days cycling, having to stand for breakfast was not a problem.
We remember that when cycling the Camino to Santiago de Compostella we had many greetings of ‘Buen Camino’ each day. Just the two greetings in six days this time. But we have received greetings from fellow cyclists and can’t decide whether they are saying ‘Chow’, ‘Wow’ or ‘Ow’. All three work for us.

Although off piste, we managed to get a stamp for our Credenziale at the Duomo. Another good result.
We now know the difference between a Latin cross and a Greek cross, a cross Botonée and a cross Pomée. But we will probably have forgotten it all by tomorrow.
Tomorrow the cycling changes and we start to climb so we are off for an early night.
Good night.
PS Alison said she had a greeting of ‘amore’ when we were cycling today. We will take that too.
